Are you here with the family and looking for different activities for your children? Then don’t miss out on these items on the Arosa Bucket List for Little Rascals below!
#1: Cute little animals and educational information
The Squirrel Trail is, and remains, a Must Do for every stay in Arosa. The fluffy little animals can also be observed and fed in the forest in winter. Along the trail, you can learn interesting facts about squirrels from the information boards. The gentle walk is suitable for the whole family and is also a good rainy day activity.
Even though the bears are hibernating during winter, the Arosa Bear Sanctuary is still worth a visit. The visitor exhibition shows the history of the bears in a fun and exciting way. You can also arrange a private tour to see the bears hibernating in their stalls.
The Zappelbär search game is an adventure for all young snow sport fans. Children can take part in a station run on skis or snowboard to help the fidgety bear find food for his hibernation. A family highlight which makes skiing and snowboarding even more fun.
The Arosa Lenzerheide snow sport region and the Schanfigg valley are home to a number of different toboggan runs. From a gentle panoramic run to an exhilarating night-time toboggan thrill, there is something for everyone. Toboggans can be hired from sports shops in Arosa.
Don’t forget to have your photo taken on the giant toboggan on the Tschuggen!
The small, charming ski area on the sunny side of the Schanfigg valley has 26 km of slopes and is nestled in the magnificent mountains surrounded by unspoilt nature. It is perfect for skiing and fun.
Did you know about the children’s ski lift in Langwies? Fans of snow sports can collect the lift key from the restaurant on “Underwis” and, after brief instruction, use the lift free of charge.
