Final stage of the Tour de Suisse Women 2022 in the Lenzerheide holiday region
The last stage of the Tour de Suisse Women 2022 will follow the tracks of the Alpen Challenge!
The Tour de Suisse Women will take place from 18 to 21 June 2022. This is the second female edition of the national tour. Last year, the field was populated with international and renowned female cyclists. The big highlight from a Swiss perspective was Elise Chabbey's stage victory.
Royal stage ends in the holiday region of Lenzerheide
This year, the final stage will end in the Roland Arena in Lantsch/Lenz! The royal stage leads via Prättigau up to Davos and finally from Tiefencastel over a steep ascent to the Roland Arena. The CEO of the Roland Arena, Benedikt Zumsteg, is delighted with the decision: "What an honour for us! To be the finish of the royal stage fills us with pride. Our infrastructure is perfect for events like this and with our event expertise we can ideally complement the organiser."
On the trail of the Alpen Challenge
The queen stage of the Tour de Suisse Women 2022 thus partly runs over sections of the Alpen Challenge. The Alpen Challenge is one of the most demanding races in the Alps, with athletes traversing the most famous passes in Graubünden. This year's Alpen Challenge will be held on 12 June 2022.
