Starting signal for the IBU Open European Championships Biathlon in Lenzerheide

The biathlon spectacle in Lenzerheide is not long in coming. From 25 to 29 January 2023, the IBU Open European Championships Biathlon (OECH) will be held for the first time in Switzerland, at the Roland Arena in Lantsch/Lenz. The OECH will be the start of a particularly exciting race series. As early as December 2023, Lenzerheide will be the venue for the first Biathlon World Cup in Switzerland and the subsequent Biathlon World Championships in February 2025 will be the absolute highlight in the upcoming event calendar of the Lenzerheide holiday region.

The organisers are looking forward to welcoming around 500 athletes, support staff and service personnel from over 30 nations. The competition programme of the European Championships includes individual, sprint and pursuit races as well as relay competitions.

Tickets for the OECH are now available online at lenzerheide2025.ch. In addition to one-day tickets, multi-day and VIP tickets with catering and accompaniment by ambassador Selina Gasparin are also available.
