Nordic has always been anchored in Lenzerheide. For almost 50 years, various folk races such as the Planoiras Folk Cross-Country Skiing Race have been held in the holiday region, in connection with the founding of the Bual Cross-Country Skiing Club in 1971. In addition, there are various major events at World Cup level in the disciplines of cross-country skiing and biathlon. In addition to the recently held Tour de Ski Lenzerheide, which took place every two years for the fifth time in Lenzerheide, a European Championship, a World Cup and the World Championships in the Biathlon await in the next three years.

«This is Nordic» promises authenticity and uncompromisingness, while «by Lenzerheide» reflects the uniqueness, playfulness, and character that only exists in Lenzerheide. Because «Nordic by Lenzerheide» is more diverse, more joyful and more light-hearted than any other Nordic offering.

Salomon won as new partner
Based on the same ideas and goals, a new partnership was formed with Salomon. In general, Lenzerheide is working towards being even closer to the pulse and working together with the Nordic industry in the future. A first step in this direction is a new event - the SWICA Nordic Testival - on 12 and 13 February 2022 in Lenzerheide. An event comparable to the testRIDE in the mountain bike scene, where the focus is on testing new products, but also on being together in the community in the sense of a festival.
