Do you like to travel in comfort and love to indulge in mountain views? Then don’t miss out on these items on the Arosa Bucket List for Connoisseurs below!
#1: Varied local restaurants
The local restaurants are notable not only because of their variety, but also because of their accessibility. All mountain huts in Arosa can be reached on foot or with the resort lift, and you can reach the restaurants in the village with the free bus or night express. Come and experience the hospitality and raise a glass!
How about ambling slowly through the village, visiting the different shops and taking home a lovely souvenir of Arosa? Whether in the sports shop, delicatessen or jewellers, a stroll around the shops is the perfect leisurely end to your day.
Away from the stress and hustle and bustle, the small but perfectly formed Hochwang snow sports area has everything the real connoisseur needs. Maybe an enjoyable descent down perfectly prepared slopes, or a hike on the sun-kissed winter hiking routes. Venture out on a trip to Hochwang, you will be entranced.
Maybe in the mountain oasis of the Grand Hotel at Tschuggen or in the sauna of a holiday apartment. Wellness in all its forms is always part of a stay in the mountains. And if your accommodation does not include any spa facilities, you are welcome to use the facilities at a number of hotels as a guest. Or book a massage with one of the different providers.
In Arosa we have a variety of different wine stores. It is worth combining the shopping tour with a visit to a wine store. Whether you fancy local Graubünden wines or exotic varieties, we are sure that our partners have something to suit every taste.
#6: Vitamin D booster on the lounger
Whether in the Carmennahütte, Hörnlihütte, Sattelhütte, Tschuggenhütte, Alpenblick, Isblaatere or the AlpArosa. All of these huts offer ample opportunity to stock up on vitamin D while relaxing on one of their comfortable loungers and simply enjoying the view.
#7: Cosy carriage ride
Lean back and relax, enjoy the mountain views and breathe in the fresh mountain air. With a carriage ride through the mountain countryside of Arosa, you can enjoy all of this. The horse-drawn carriages are parked by the station or can be booked in advance by telephone.
Tip: Combine an evening meal at a mountain hut or in a village restaurant with a carriage ride incl. drink.
